Me in Studio 2.jpg

I was born in Dohna, Germany (at that time, East Germany). I showed an early interest in art, winning awards from grade school in Germany and in junior high school after being adopted and immigrating to the United States.

After completing my military service, I enrolled at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, in the Fine Arts program, graduating in 1975, in Painting and Print making. As the years went by I entered man Local and national competitions and have won many awards for my artwork.

In 1989 I went to Europe for approximately for 9 years, working as a Designer and apprenticing in Sculpting with Mr. Ludwig Seibert. Upon returning to the USA I ended up in southern California.

In 2007 I graduated from Warnborough College with an MFA degree in painting.

In 2010 I moved to the State of Wisconsin, where I opened my his Studio and continues to paint.
